The current management team is led by Mr. Nikola Milovan Banicevic and Mr. Naresh Kapoor with the advice and guidance from Mr. Yasushi Chikagami, Mr. Umesh Shrivastav, Mr. Raj Peter and Mr. N. Santhanam.
Yasushi Chikagami
An authoritative figure in technology business, Mr. Chikagami has more than forty years of experience in the fields of electronic components, computer peripherals and information & communication technology. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from National Taiwan University, and a master and a Ph.D. in Engineering from the National Tokyo University. He is a founder of GVC Corporation, which was one of the top five global manufactures in information products before being merged with Lite-On Group of Companies. Presently, he serves as chairman and director in many prestigious companies in Japan, USA, Taiwan, China, Korea, Singapore and India. Mr. Chikagami has tremendous exposure and extensive contact all over the world and will be guiding the business development team in the international markets.
Naresh Kapoor
Mr. Kapoor has more than forty-five years of experience in various information technologies field, including marketing, software development, corporate planning, general management, and hardware manufacturing and distribution. An engineering graduate and computer science postgraduate from IIT Delhi, he holds leadership roles in several prestigious organizations in India and Singapore. He is the founder of Valona group of companies in Singapore.
Nikola Milovan Banicevic
Nikola MIlovan Banicevic, has business experience of over 40 years, graduated in Military academy counter intelligence, worked in Intelligence service for over 24 years on major position handling strategy for Middle East and Africa. He has Graduated from University in Germany-Stuttgart as Mechanical-Electrical Engineer, finishing Political science in Sorbonne France and speaks 7 languages. Having led very large continental relationship with various countries on Political and commercial level with Government and private sector. Since 1998 integral part of Valona family and has been responsible for enhancing Valona’s business in USA, Canada, Latin America, Middle East, Balkan, Serbia, Bosnia, Macedonia and Croatia.
Umesh Shrivastav
Mr. Shrivastav is a leading telecommunication specialist and the managing director of an ICT consulting company in India. Graduated from University of Illinois in the U.S.A. with a postgraduate degree in Engineering, Mr. Shrivastav has been working in the ICT industry for over 25 years. He served as a key advisor for the world’s second largest telecommunication company in India and has handled various assignments for Ericsson, ASC, AT&T, Telstra and Deutsche Telecom.
Raj Peter
Mr. Peter is experienced financial & management consultant and associated with various projects in European Union, Far East, Indian Sub-continent, North & West Africa. He is slowly reducing his active participation in day to day business to follow his passion for social work. However, social work requires financing and therefore his continued participation in companies like ours. Has active involvement in service of the under privileged spans close to three decades. He is now actually devoting lot of time to agriculture research and is now working with likeminded groups who are contributing to the enhanced output of agri-products, so that food and nutrition availability across the most down trodden society can be a reality and not a dream dependent on successive governments in power. He can be consulted by any group through our Valona offices interested in increasing crop output using minimal amounts of chemical fertilizers and pesticides. He also has a dream of setting up a minimum of three elderly care centres in the next four years. He still travel the world chasing technologies which are relevant in today’s ever changing environment and looking for innovative road building and agriculture for Valona.
N. Santhanam
Mr. Santhanam is an Electrical Engineer by profession, started his carrier in yearly seventies in Petro chemical industries with Multinational companies, in a junior management and middle management level. Later in early eighties he has moved in to Middle East and Persian countries in a senior management level and held very senior positions with the well known business establishments. In the Middle East he was responsible for implementing and developing various business contracts for local, Indian and European companies and now more specialized himself in the field of business development and have now become active business consultant. He has travelled widely around the world and worked closely with the Romanian privatization fund in Romania for privatization projects in their privatization program with his Spanish associates carrying feasibility studies and due diligence audit etc for the fund.
